Morris A. Davis, Ph.D., Paul V. Profeta Chair of Real Estate and the Academic Director of the Rutgers Center for Real Estate, recently served as an official participant at the 13th Annual Vienna Macroeconomic Workshop, sponsored by the Institute for Advanced Studies, St. Louis Federal Reserve and the Rutgers Business School Center for Real Estate. Global thought leaders in macroeconomics gathered at the workshop to present their papers and hold a lively discussion on a wide range of topics.

“Sponsoring a workshop that encourages the open discussion of leading macroeconomic themes and research was an exciting opportunity for the Rutgers Center for Real Estate,” said Davis. “Many of these topics have a direct correlation to the world and the global real estate market and it was an exciting experience to be among so many leaders in the field to exchange ideas and research. The Rutgers Center for Real Estate continues its mission to be leader in real estate studies and practices. Research and innovative thinking are key elements to our program as we are proud to have a presence at and sponsors this important workshop.”

The Vienna Macroeconomic Workshop was held between October 21st and 22nd at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna, Austria. For more information on topics and speakers at the program please visit the event page here.
